What You Will Do

• Lead and mentor a talented team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions using AWS, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Drive the adoption of TypeScript across the development team, enhancing code quality and maintainability.
• Oversee the deployment and management of containerized applications using Docker, optimizing resource utilization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with business objectives and customer needs.
• Establish best practices for DevOps and SRE, improving operational efficiency and reducing downtime.
• Analyze system performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 7-12 years of experience in engineering leadership roles, specifically within infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE.
• Proven expertise in TypeScript and AWS, with a strong understanding of cloud architecture and services.
• Experience managing and scaling engineering teams, with a focus on mentorship and professional development.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

• Familiarity with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Experience in the healthcare or fintech industries, understanding their unique challenges and opportunities.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks to enhance deployment processes.

Compensation and Benefits
