Vice President of Pharmacy Operations – Multi-State Acute Care | Las Vegas, NV
Employment Type: Full-Time, Days, Administrative Hours (No Weekends)
Compensation: $164,860 – $238,992/year | Incentive Bonus up to 17.5% | Relocation Assistance Case by Case

We are seeking an accomplished Vice President of Pharmacy Operations to lead and optimize pharmacy services across a multi-state acute care division. Based in Las Vegas/Henderson, NV, this role provides executive oversight for six hospitals in Nevada and California, directing pharmacy strategy, compliance, cost management, and clinical excellence. With 25–35% travel, this is a high-impact position ideal for leaders ready to elevate pharmacy operations at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Lead pharmacy services for six acute care hospitals, ensuring operational effectiveness, compliance, and financial stewardship.

  • Oversee Division Pharmacy Directors and regional teams, building a culture of collaboration and clinical excellence.

  • Analyze purchasing patterns and implement innovative cost containment strategies.

  • Partner with division and facility executives to advance pharmacy practice and improve patient outcomes.

  • Ensure regulatory readiness and adherence to all federal and state pharmacy requirements.

  • Develop and execute business process models to enhance division-wide efficiency.

  • Mentor and strengthen leadership teams, building one of the strongest pharmacy teams in the organization.

Qualifications

Required:

  • B.S. in Pharmacy

  • Licensed Pharmacist (or ability to obtain Nevada license within 6 months)

  • 5+ years of progressive pharmacy leadership in an acute care, multi-site environment (retail-only backgrounds not considered)

  • Proven executive presence and ability to collaborate with C-suite leaders

Preferred:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), MBA, or MS degree

  • Prior experience as a Chief Pharmacy Officer, Division/Market Director, or Vice President

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $164,860 – $238,992/year

  • Annual incentive bonus up to 17.5%
