Job Description

Employment Type: Hybrid

Texas Precious Metals has gone from zero to over $2 billion in annual trading volume in 15 years. A subsidiary of Kaspar Companies, TPM is vertically integrated across a retail and wholesale trading platform, a minting operation under the Texas Mint brand, and a depository network spanning Texas, the Cayman Islands, Switzerland, New Zealand, and a COMEX-designated vault now open in New York. The depository business has doubled its income every year for seven consecutive years. The company is approaching $30M+ in annual net income and has a five-year target of $100M. The e-commerce business is the fastest-growing segment. The customer base is on pace to more than double this year. The business is on pace to be two to three times its current size within 24 months. TPM is now launching into capital markets with the first two precious metals ETFs domiciled in the United States on NASDAQ this May, with two additional equity products following in Q4.

The Opportunity
This is a company that has the financial performance of a mature business, the growth trajectory of a startup, and the ambition of a platform company, but the marketing function doesn't exist yet. The person who steps in is building, not inheriting.

That means building the e-commerce email and analytics infrastructure that doesn't exist yet, managing a sponsorship portfolio across professional rodeo, UFC, and major university athletics, and running marketing execution behind two ETFs launching on NASDAQ. You report directly to the CEO, manage a $1M–$2M budget from day one, and your incentive is tied to the D2C growth you drive.

What You’ll Own
The role is approximately 70% e-commerce and retail marketing, 15–20% capital markets and ETF marketing support, and the remainder is Y'all Street and content. The Y'all Street podcast and video series has grown into a media property, with recent episodes approaching 2 million views. You manage the existing team and contractor network: a full-time employee in Dallas on SEO and AI content, a production agency in Idaho running design, collateral, social, and video, and contracted creatives.

  • E-commerce email and analytics infrastructure own the Klaviyo account, architect segmentation, establish A/B testing cadence, and build baseline measurement of LTV, CAC, open rates, and conversion. None of it is currently tracked.
  • Sponsorship and partner relationships: PRCA, UFC, Texas A&M, rodeo athletes, National Finals Rodeo, and Governor's Cup. Manage contracts, relationship cadence, deliverable tracking, and go-to-market execution for partnership product launches.
  • New product launch marketing drive launch strategy for coin releases including press, partner coordination, and athlete interviews.
  • Marketing team and contractor network set expectations, define KPIs before campaigns launch, and build a scalable team structure. Your first hire will be a dedicated email marketing specialist.
  • ETF launch support: event-driven marketing, PR flow management, financial conference sponsorships, and media logistics. The capital markets clients include major publicly traded financial institutions and wirehouses. You are not the spokesman. You run the operation behind it.

Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a builder-minded, hands-on marketing leader who thrives in ambiguity, knows how to scale lifecycle, CRM, and analytics, and can confidently lead both agency partners and high-profile sponsorships.

You’ve owned e-commerce marketing at a DTC or consumer brand, whether at scale or in a growing function where you stayed close to the work. You know email, lifecycle, and performance marketing, including Klaviyo or a similar ESP, and you’re fluent enough in data to focus on the metrics that actually matter. Magento experience is a plus, but strong e-commerce instincts matter more. You’ve started using AI in your workflow, and you’ve led agencies, contractors, or cross-functional partners with the accountability to step into a management role. You’ve also managed the budget thoughtfully and know how to prioritize and defend spend. Industry is flexible, and the product is learnable. The e-commerce discipline is not.

The qualities that matter in this seat:

  • Execution discipline and organization builds systems around goals that can be executed and measured. Think engineer with a marketing mind.
  • Empathy with accountability demanding on performance, genuinely invested in the people.
  • Sense of urgency closes open items fast, communicates heavily, keeps pace.
  • Independent problem-solving brings solutions and makes day-to-day decisions without escalating.
  • Financial accountability justifies spend before it is made. Defends every dollar with data.
  • Relationship builder with range comfortable with rodeo athletes, financial conference organizers, brand partners, and internal teams.
  • Marketing as science the science of influence, not the art of aesthetics. You bring measurement, systems, and rigor.
  • Cultural fit TPM operates within a family-owned business where respect and stewardship shape the culture, including norms around communication and presentation. You’re aligned with and comfortable in that environment.
