We're representing a dynamic company that serves as the complete operating system for the community retail market, empowering independent convenience, grocery, and liquor stores to enhance their revenue streams through innovative in-store POS solutions, eCommerce capabilities, marketing strategies, and AI-powered agents.
What You Will Do
- Lead and mentor a diverse engineering team to drive product development and innovation.
- Oversee the architecture and implementation of scalable software solutions using NodeJS, TypeScript, and Next.js.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI technologies that enhance customer engagement and operational efficiency.
- Develop and execute technical strategies that align with business objectives and market trends.
- Ensure high-quality code delivery through best practices in software development and deployment on AWS.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements to optimize user experience and operational effectiveness.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on building scalable applications.
- Proven expertise in NodeJS, TypeScript, and Next.js, with a deep understanding of modern web technologies.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing engineering teams and driving successful product outcomes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering high-quality software solutions in fast-paced environments.
Preferred
- Experience in the ecommerce or fintech sectors, with an understanding of B2B dynamics.
- Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in retail environments.
- Previous experience in a venture-backed startup or high-growth company.
Compensation and Benefits
