Under the vision and strategic direction of the CEO, the Vice-President of Development and Marketing is responsible for the planning, promoting, directing, controlling, coordination and evaluation of a broad-based fund development and marketing program for the agency. The director will work in close partnership with the CEO to develop and implement strategic and tactical communication plans designed to capitalize on market opportunities and generate increase grant funding as well as non-restricted revenue for the agency. The VP of Development and Marketing will lead and enhance an integrated, creative marketing team that builds brand awareness and reputation which feeds into enhanced funding opportunities through brand awareness and public recognition of the value Matrix brings to the community.
The Vice-President of Development & Marketing is a key contributor to the Executive Leadership Team.

Works in a normal office environment with usual pressures of managing personnel and dealing with time constraints. Because of multiple sites within the department and the need to meet with others within the community, it is common to drive to several locations, sometimes in inclement weather.
