Job Description

VP of Accounting - $160K to 170K plus 30% bonus.

This is a ground-floor opportunity to build the financial infrastructure of a growing retail company — and grow into the CFO role as the company scales.

Reporting directly to the CEO and sitting on the leadership team, the VP of Accounting will own all accounting and financial planning functions. You'll operate as a hands-on accounting leader alongside a Staff Accountant — month end close, managing cash flow, overseeing payroll, and establishing consistent in-store accounting controls across all locations.

On the strategic side, you'll build a fully integrated financial model from scratch, lead the annual budgeting process, develop location-level scorecards and dashboards, and prepare board-ready financial reporting. You'll also own lender relationships, covenant compliance, and the annual audit — and lead ERP selection and migration.
The ideal candidate:
  • 12+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including hands-on accounting operations 
  • Min 2 years of leadership.
  • Multi-unit retail or consumer brand experience is strongly preferred.
  • CPA preferred; ERP implementation experience required.
