Step into the role of Derivative Middle Office - VP Reconciliations acts as the first line of defense, ensuring trade integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational resilience across all derivative products. The role provides strategic oversight of Trade and position Reconciliations and trade lifecycle management, partnering closely with Front Office, clients, Technology, and Infrastructure teams to enforce robust controls and deliver timely, accurate execution.

Lead and manage a global DMO team, ensuring effective performance management, engagement, and development.
Maintain depth charts and cross training plans to mitigate key person risk.
Conduct regular career conversations and drive learning & development to build a strong leadership pipeline.
Ensure optimal team structure and resourcing, with quarterly reviews alongside the Service Lead to challenge effectiveness and efficiency.
Support Front Office through accurate and timely trade processing, enabling business growth and client confidence.
Own and deliver the strategic roadmap, including process re-engineering and efficiency initiatives aligned to GMO objectives.
Drive simplification through process consolidation, removal of duplication, and optimal workflow design.
Ensure strategic deliveries are executed and benefits are realized.
Extensive experience in Investment Banking Operations, with strong exposure to Derivative Middle Office / Trade Control functions.
Proven expertise across Trade, positions, Balance Sheet account substantiations lifecycle management, and exception resolution.
Strong risk and control mindset, with experience owning audits, RCSAs, and remediation plans.
Demonstrated people management experience, including leading managers and SMEs.
Ability to manage high pressure environments and tight deadlines with accuracy and ownership.
Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable skills set:
Strong understanding of derivative products across asset classes, including Rates, Equities, Structured and Exotic products.
Prior exposure to Middle Office Operations, Sales Support, or Product Control.
Experience driving automation and strategic change in complex operational environments.
Functional expertise in Managing Reconciliation out of Reconciliation Tools: Automated/Manual workflows.
Proven Track record in managing risk & governance through RCSA, Audit & Control framework.
