About this Role

Quanta Services is seeking a visionary and results-driven Vice President of Manufacturing to lead and optimize our manufacturing operations across multiple business units. This executive will be responsible for developing and executing manufacturing strategies that align with corporate goals, drive operational excellence, and support Quanta’s commitment to innovation, safety, and sustainability in the energy infrastructure sector.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive manufacturing strategy aligned with Quanta’s business objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Drive innovation through adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies and lean principles.
  • Oversee all manufacturing operations including production planning, scheduling, capacity management, and supply chain coordination.
  • Ensure efficient resource allocation (equipment, labor, materials) to meet production targets and budget constraints.
  • Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to assess performance and implement corrective actions.
  • Quality & Compliance
  • Establish and maintain robust quality assurance systems to meet industry and customer standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Build and lead a high-performing manufacturing leadership team.
  • Foster a collaborative and accountable work environment.
  • Mentor and develop talent to support succession planning and organizational growth.
  • Develop and manage manufacturing budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditures.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with finance and executive leadership on strategic investment decisions.
  • Partner with engineering, procurement, logistics, and project management teams to ensure seamless execution of manufacturing goals.
  • Serve as a key contributor to executive decision-making and strategic planning.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in manufacturing leadership roles, preferably in energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale manufacturing operations and driving transformational change.
  • Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing multimillion-dollar budgets.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing analytics tools.
  • Commitment to safety, sustainability, and ethical business practices.
