Job Description

1) Supervise the management activities made by collective investment managers in accordance with the local financial regulation

2) Review and handle various documentations relating to the business

3) Manage and report on investment breaches by the asset manager, including escalation and stakeholder communication

4) Support the arrangement of Committee meetings and Provide with MI report to the relevant stakeholders

5) Communicate / proceed with Global Custodian / Transfer Agent for offshore investment implementation etc.

6) Administer the products and/or services processing and customer communication independently

7) Ensuring the teams deliver in line with demand statements and Planning and prioritization of day-to-day processing across teams

Qualifications

1) Regulatory Expertise: Deep understanding of the Korean Financial Investment Services and Capital Markets Act, particularly trustee oversight obligations, fund regulations, and trustee liability risks.

2) Breach & Escalation Management : Proven track record of handling investment limit breaches, regulatory escalations, and dispute resolution with Asset Management Companies (AMCs)

3) Fund business, Trustee, Global Custody & Cross-Border Knowledge : Practical experience in interacting with Asset Management Companies (AMCs), Global Custodians (GC), Offshore Transfer Agents (TA), and Foreign counter parties for cross-border fund/asset implementation and processing.

4) Language Capability : Fluent / Professional Business English (both written and spoken) for stakeholder reporting, Committee documentation, and Global Custodian communication.

5) Leadership & Functional Skills : Experience in leading a team, task allocation, prioritizing day-to-day processing, and managing overall team operational performance/KPIs

6) Relevant Experience : at least 7 years of relevant experience in Trustee (Fund) business or in Compliance
