As Vice President Human Resources for Network Transport Solutions (NTS), you will lead the people agenda for a diverse and geographically dispersed UK business, helping to unite teams, strengthen culture and create a shared sense of purpose across our nationwide network.

As VP Human Resources for NTS, you will play a pivotal role in bringing together teams, sites and leaders across the UK, creating a culture that unites people behind a shared vision, purpose and ambition. Partnering closely with the senior leadership team, you will help drive business performance through people, providing strategic input into commercial decisions while leading the engagement, culture and talent agenda that will define our next chapter of growth.

✅WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Shape and deliver the people strategy, aligning HR priorities with current and future business goals to enable sustainable growth and organisational success.
• Build a high-performing, inclusive culture that drives engagement, strengthens belonging and attracts, develops and retains exceptional talent.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the senior leadership team, providing strategic counsel on people, organisation and culture matters while ensuring operational excellence across the employee lifecycle.
• Lead organisational transformation and change programmes, building leadership capability and ensuring the business is equipped to navigate growth, change and evolving customer requirements.
• Partner with Centres of Excellence and HR teams to deliver a seamless, commercially focused people agenda that supports business performance and employee experience.
• Drive continuous improvement across people processes, leveraging data, insight and best practice to enhance efficiency, effectiveness and colleague experience.
• Use workforce insights and people analytics to monitor progress against strategic objectives, identify opportunities and inform decision-making.
• Proactively identify organisational risks and challenges, developing practical solutions that support business continuity, performance and long-term capability.
• Champion leadership development and succession planning, creating a strong pipeline of future talent and strengthening organisational resilience.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement across the business, ensuring our people remain at the heart of everything we do.

✅WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• CIPD Qualified or Equivalent – Essential
• Experience within a Logistics/ Supply Chain environment – Desirable
• Significant senior HR leadership experience gained within a large, complex and operationally focused environment.
• The ability to influence and challenge at Executive and Board level, bringing a strong commercial perspective to people and business decisions.
• Experience of leading businesses through periods of growth, transformation, integration or cultural change.
• A passion for creating connected, inclusive and high-performing cultures across geographically dispersed teams.
• Expertise in talent, succession and leadership development, with a proven ability to build organisational capability for the future.
• Strong judgement, resilience and credibility, coupled with the ability to inspire confidence and build trusted relationships at all levels.
