The Vice President, HR Business Partnering leads the field HR Business Partner team within the HR organization. The HR Business Partner team is the first point of contact for the business, assessing and anticipating HR-related needs to proactively deploy solutions, working with the relevant HR Center of Expertise (CoE). The Vice President, HR Business Partnering collaborates to build trusted relationships with Senior Leadership to deliver value and reflect Athletico’s mission, vision and values. The Vice President, HR Business Partnering acts as a liaison between various HR functions and across the organization on priorities such as: Onboarding, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Organizational Development, Compensation, Talent Assessments, Succession Planning, and Engagement/Retention.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The below is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organization and the overall business objectives of the organization.

  • Serves as a trusted Business Advisor to Senior Operations Leadership on all HR-related programs and priorities.
  • Lead a team of HR Business Partners, ensuring strategic focus and deployment of HR activity across the organization.
  • Partner with other HR Leaders on developing and deploying strategy to deliver best in class HR support to our business.
  • In partnership with business leaders, develop and implement a talent plan that ensures the organization has the right talent to deliver on financial commitments, consistent team performance and a sustainable talent bench for business growth over several years.
  • Assures company complies with all federal, state and local laws governing employment. Designs, revises, distributes, interprets, and applies policies and procedures.
  • Drive, influence, advise and support the cultural and people aspects of organizational change.
  • Interpret local laws to management as it relates to employee matters; Keep abreast of legislation affecting human resources and business operations.
  • Provides Operations leaders with coaching, training and value-added services including leadership development, and project management.
  • Responsible for the quality and responsiveness of the overall delivery of HR services for Operations.
  • Lead special projects as it relates to HR Agenda.
  • Develop and cultivate relationships to build partnerships and brand inside and outside the company.
  • Foster a climate & culture that creates a positive employee experience

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • A Bachelor’s Degree required, preferrably in Human Resources or related field.
    • MBA or other related graduate level degree strongly preferred.
  • Work Experience:
    • Minimum of 10 years of HR business partnering experience required with 5+ year’s progressive leadership responsibilities in a dynamic environment preferred.
    • Experience in directly supporting an organization undergoing transformative change is essential.
    • 3-5 years’ experience in the healthcare field a plus.
  • Certification/Licensure:
    • None Required
  • Knowledge and Technical Skills:
    • Strong computer skills with Excel, Word and PowerPoint applications.
    • Deep experience addressing human capital issues with strategic solutions required.
    • Demonstrated experience working with and leading cross-functional teams with strong collaboration and customer service skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the company; ability to manage by influence.
    • Strategic mindset with a willingness to be hands on and ensure operational excellence.
    • Ability to work with multiple levels of employees across the organization.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to fulfill office activities including but not limited to remain stationary for extended periods of time (i.e. while working at a desk), stoop/kneel/crouch, travel around the office, communicate with others (verbal and written), and use fine motor skills including fine hand manipulation and keyboarding.
  • Ability to see at close range, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Salaried ranges listed are for full time (40 hour) employees. Additional pay such as incentive, GAP, overtime, and stipends are subject to the rules of each program and may not be available in all locations. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.

Maximum Salary/Wage

USD $230,000.00/Yr.
