
Purpose:
The VP, Global Corporate Responsibility will develop, implement and monitor relevant processes, and programs which drives a company culture of inclusion and community for all. This leader will closely partner with Senior Synchrony Leaders, our Employee Resource Groups, Client HR Managers and external partners.
Essential Responsibilities:
Owns annual corporate responsibility program roadmap in alignment with company goals, engagement and talent management priorities
Oversight and management of our Employee Resource Groups for stronger business connection and enablement of our culture & employee experience. Includes annual ERG planning and consistent operating practices.
Evaluates company programs and initiatives to ensure alignment with our For All culture, embracing respect and belonging
Owns and delivers our annual Global UNITE Conference – including planning, inclusive programming, budget management, and on-site execution
Partners with Talent Management and Talent Acquisition teams to strengthen our talent pipeline and leadership development initiatives
Leverages analytical mindset to utilize external market intelligence to benchmark, evaluate and optimize internal programming
Develops and analyzes metrics to assess the effectiveness of corporate responsibility initiatives and prepare quarterly reports to senior management
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
BA/BS degree in HR, Business or equivalent work experience
8+ years HR experience
Strong business acumen with excellent project management, critical thinking and problem solving skills
Experience leading enterprise-wide initiatives with multiple stakeholders
HR functional experience including; employee relations, staffing and HR practices and policies
Technically proficient with MS Office and other management tools
Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required

Experienced communicator (written & verbal) with strong presentation skills

The salary range for this position is 150,000.00 - 250,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

You will be required to commute to your nearest Hub (either virtual or physical) for in-person engagement activities such as regular business or team meetings, training and culture events.

Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
