  • Business segments covered: PFS (individual & non-individual), and Wholesale Banking segments [ including Emerging Enterprise (EE)& Medium Enterprise(ME) ] covering both conventional and Islamic cases.
  • Manage the overall operational functions of support operations & counter services, credit admin (including post disbursement covenant verification & escalation ) , insurance & valuation operations support , issuance of redemption statements and departmental management reporting & support regulatory reporting .
  • Oversee timely submission and accuracy of various reports per report checklist & ad-hoc report as & when required as guided by Bank’s policies
  • Oversee, review, develop, formulate and improve processes / procedures to achieve effective, productive and optimal resource management to meet business targets while maintaining / improving compliance and control.
  • Supervision of staff - developing staff’s skill set, providing the necessary coaching / training as appropriate and ensuring the application of values in their daily jobs to enable them to be effective team players, dedicated and high performance employee.
  • Guide and provide solutions to Maker / Checker / Team Leader on work related issues.
  • Prepare and review team members’ appraisal for submission to HOD.
  • Lead / participate in departmental / in-country / Group / regulatory projects assigned by superior.
  • Carry out any other additional duties assigned by HOD from time to time.

Requirement:

  • A recognised Degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or any other equivalent qualification and / or
  • Minimum 10 years' relevant experience in banking environment, especially in handling documentation for wholesale conventional loan / Islamic financing documentation
  • Working knowledge with Microsoft Office software including co-pilot , power BI /query etc
  • Team player, keen and quick learner, progressive thinker, implementer, pro-active, self-driven and teachable
  • Is competent in one’s functional / technical skills
  • Get things done within the given timeline, using time effectively and efficiently and can be counted on to meet team’s, unit’s, department’s, division’s and Group’s goals successfully
  • Understands that different situations and levels may call for different skills sets and approaches, and actively applies this knowledge
  • Good / effective people and stakeholder management skills
  • Possesses healthy self-esteem and self-confidence with humility
  • Possesses the courage to express opinion / views in respectful and professional manner
  • Builds constructive and effective relationships, and is diplomatic and tactful
  • Good problem solver and able to come out with creative ideas
  • Supports and implements collective decisions even when it may be difficult personally or for their team
  • Keeps calm and stays resilient under complex and trying conditions in order to achieve results
  • Able to communicate effectively with business partners and relevant stakeholders
  • Good command of oral and written English
