The VP, Fleet Maintenance is responsible for team coordinating efforts and aircraft maintenance required to support EJM managed aircraft, hangar tenants, or transition aircraft and is the Fleet representative to Owners, OEMs, vendors and department managers for Fleet Maintenance on Full Managed and Charter Managed aircraft assigned to EJM. Supports Fleet Maintenance Cabin Directors & Maintenance Managers by managing the relationship with vendor maintenance at off-site facilities, as well as arranging maintenance assets for EJM Owners. The VP, Fleet Maintenance monitors the account for quality control and serves as a problem-solver for any high-level maintenance related issues that may arise. Ensure the maintenance production schedule is maintained and complies with FAA, company and best practice procedures. In this position, the VP, Fleet Maintenance assists with the strategic outlook of the account as it relates to hiring, aircraft maintenance and utilization, new aircraft assessment, billing, upgrades and cost analysis. Ensure fair and equitable assignment of accounts to three Fleet Maintenance teams to ensure safe and compliant maintenance practices. Responsible for compliance with the company Safety Management System (SMS) program and reporting through the appropriate process all safety, security or quality recommendations or non-compliance observations.
This position is based in Cincinnati, OH at the EJM headquarters at Lunken Airport.

Detailed knowledge of the services provided by EJM Aircraft Management and Charter Management and the company operation overall. Negotiating and customer service skills. Strong understanding of aviation terminology and the business aircraft industry. A general understanding of the various new and pre-owned business aircraft and their operational capabilities, strengths and weaknesses, and purchase cost. Ability to coordinate with internationally- based clients, especially those operating on Executive Jet Management's certificate.
