Job Profile Summary

The Corporate Sales professional is responsible for originating, developing, and executing Financial Markets solutions for approved corporate clients, covering FX, Rates, and OTC Derivatives within delegated risk and credit limits. The role focuses on delivering tailored hedging and risk-management solutions aligned with clients’ business needs, supported by strong client relationships, market insight, and close collaboration with internal stakeholders, while ensuring full adherence to ING’s risk appetite and compliance framework.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Corporate Sales Vice President, your principal responsibilities include:

  • Own and manage day‑to‑day sales activities across FX and Rates flow products and selected structured solutions, in line with the FM Sales Practices Manual and internal governance standards.
  • Originate, structure, and execute risk‑management and investment solutions for corporate clients by working closely with local, regional, and global Trading and Structuring desks.
  • Develop, maintain, and grow long‑term relationships with existing and prospective corporate clients, acting as a trusted advisor on market risk, funding‑related risks, and balance‑sheet management topics.
  • Proactively identify commercial opportunities through market color, client dialogue, and understanding of industry‑specific dynamics, with the objective of increasing ING’s share of wallet while balancing client needs and ING’s risk profile.
  • Drive sustainable revenue generation through idea creation, disciplined execution, and consistent client coverage, exercising judgment and ownership expected at VP level.
  • Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders including Trading, Research, Risk Management, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to deliver optimal client solutions and ensure smooth execution.
  • Embed ING’s strategy, customer approach, and risk framework into daily sales activities, and contribute to broader FM and Corporate Sector initiatives where relevant.

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in managing and developing relationships with corporate clients, working closely with treasury and finance teams.
  • Solid working knowledge of FX, Rates, and OTC Derivatives, with the ability to support corporates’ hedging and risk‑management needs.
  • Good market awareness, with the ability to translate market developments into practical client ideas and opportunities.
  • Strong commercial mindset with ownership, execution focus, and the ability to grow wallet share in a disciplined way.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English and Korean, written and verbal.
  • A proactive, collaborative attitude, with accountability, adaptability to ING’s culture, and strong team spirit.
