SScope and Dimension

• Candidate will be responsible for Accounting and finance profile at IBU, GIFT City, Gujarat.
• Geographical coverage: IBU, Gift City, Gujarat. Role would require frequent co-ordination with other SMBC offices / Regional Head office.
• Functional coverage:
• Accounting - Maintenance of books of accounts, reconciliations, daily control activities, Head office / regulatory reporting, periodic Financial statement preparation and audit handling.
• Tax - Manage direct/ indirect tax compliance
• Liaising with external consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Regulatory reporting – Preparation/ submission of required reports to regulator
• Contribute to process building
• Build strong networking within banking fraternity and regulators
• Build relationship and coordination with HO Finance department and IFSCA.

Main interfaces / relationships: Effective and efficient liaison with other teams, regional and Matrix stakeholders including senior management members, department heads, regulators etc.
