Job Description

The VP Finance will lead and manage the company’s global financial operations, including international entities, tax planning, SOX implementation, internal controls, SAP financial ownership, and financial management of hardware operations and inventory. The role is part of a growing public company environment and plays a critical leadership role in building scalable financial infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Global Financial Management

• Full ownership of financial activities across international entities
• Oversight of monthly and quarterly global closings
• Coordination with external auditors and international accounting providers

Tax Planning & Financial Regulatory Compliance

• Lead international tax planning strategy
• Manage transfer pricing structure
• Ensure compliance with financial regulatory requirements
• Oversee tax filings and coordination with external advisors

SOX & Internal Controls

• Lead the implementation and ongoing management of SOX framework

SAP Finance Ownership

• Business ownership of SAP Business One (SAP B1) financial modules
• Strengthen financial processes within SAP

Inventory & Hardware Finance

• Oversee cost accounting and product costing methodologies
• Monitor BOM, WIP, and inventory valuation processes
• Partner with Operations on manufacturing financial controls

Sales & Revenue Interface

• Oversee revenue recognition processes
• Support financial review of large contracts and tenders
• Partner with Sales leadership on pricing and margin optimization
• Monitor credit risk and payment structures

Requirements

Must Have

• Experience in a publicly traded company
• Proven global financial management experience
• Experience in hardware / manufacturing environment
• Hands-on SOX experience
• Strong knowledge of SAP Business One (SAP B1)
• Understanding of international taxation
• Proven managerial experience

Nice to Have

• Experience with NetSuite
• Big 4 background
• Experience scaling from $50M to $100M revenue
• CPA certification – strongly preferred.
• Non-CPA candidates must have proven senior-level experience in public company reporting, SOX, and complex industrial accounting environments.
