What impact will you make in this role?

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Mobile engineer. You will be accountable for mobile engineering design, improving device compliance, mobile user experience, mobile app onboarding and operational efficiency through modern MDM, MAM and Zero-Trust practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, building, securing our mobile platform – ensuring optimal performance, robust security and compliance.This is a technical, hands-on engineering role that involves having a deep understanding of MDM and MAM, advanced troubleshooting skills and secure deployment of mobile applications.

What will you do as a VP, EUI Mobility Platform Engineer?

Strategy, Vision & Platform Ownership

• Define and own the enterprise mobility platform strategy across Apple and Android ecosystems.
• Establish a roadmap aligned with Zero Trust and identity-centric access and Business continuity and operational resilience objectives.
• Define and own mobile app onboarding standards.

Mobility Platform Design & Engineering

• Lead engineering for Mobile Device Management (MDM) & Mobile Application Management (MAM).
• Lead Solution Integration, Roadmap, POC and new initiatives throughout the Project/Product lifecycle.
• Define end-to-end mobility device lifecycle management including Procurement and onboarding, Zero-touch enrolment, Configuration and compliance, Support, refresh, and decommissioning.
• Ensure platforms are Secure-by-design, Scalable across regions and Highly available and resilient
• Define reference architectures, Technology Standards for Corporate-owned and BYOD models, Mobile, tablet, and cross-platform device use cases
• Create Design documents and manage Patching and Vulnerability Management.
• Provide Technical support and quality control throughout all the stages of the project and synchronise with industry engineering standards like CIS, NIST practices
• Risk centric approach for Engineering releases and drive Observability and telemetry-driven outcomes.
• Ensure alignment with security and compliance standards, especially in a fintech-grade environment.
• Collaborate with ITSM and EUC teams to embed AI into service delivery, ticket resolution, and software deployment.
• Ensure responsible AI usage, compliance, and alignment with enterprise data governance policies.
• Drive automation-first engineering to eliminate manual and error-prone activities
• Ensure secure decommissioning and data sanitisation aligned with compliance and audit standards
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously enhance and improve MDM adoption and management.

Device Lifecycle & Automation

• Define end-to-end mobility device lifecycle management including onboarding, zero-touch enrolment, configuration and compliance, support, refresh, and decommissioning.
• Drive automation-first engineering to eliminate manual and error-prone activities
• Ensure secure decommissioning and data sanitisation aligned with compliance and audit standards
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously enhance and improve MDM adoption and management.
• Ensure alignment with security and compliance standards.

Security, Risk & Zero Trust Enforcement

• Embed device trust and posture as mandatory access signals for corporate applications, Cloud and SaaS services, sensitive and privileged environments.
• Enforce encryption, secure configuration baselines, OS and application patch compliance.
• Partner with Cyber Security to integrate mobility platforms with Identity and access controls, Endpoint security and mobile threat defence, SOC and SIEM monitoring.
• Implement and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) via SDK or App wrapping to enforce data protection policies for apps deployed via MDM.

Engineering Governance & Standards

• Establish enterprise standards for Mobility engineering, configuration and policy management.
• Ensure strong separation of duties and least-privilege access.
• Govern third-party tools, integrations, and service providers.
• Promote Infrastructure-as-Code and Policy-as-Code principles where applicable.

What makes you a successful candidate?

Experience

• 12+ years of experience in End-User Infrastructure Services, Mobility Platform or Digital Workplace
• Proven leadership delivering in large-scale mobility platform modernisation, or reliability transformations.
• Experience operating in enterprise environments supporting multiple markets.
• Demonstrated success influencing and leading across organizational boundaries.

Technical & Domain Expertise

• Modern Endpoint Management Tools - Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) including Microsoft Intune, JAMF Pro, ABM and Android Enterprise.
• Identity and Access – Azure AD, Conditional Access, Zero Trust.
• Operating systems - macOS, iOS, iPadOS & Android
• Identity Providers - Active Directory, Entra ID, ADFS
• M365 Apps – Exchange Online, Teams, One Drive, Office etc
• Expertise in Telemetry / SIEM tools like MTD, Intune Analytics.
• Certificate Authority – MS PKI
• Automation – IAC, PowerShell, Shell scripting, Graph and Rest API
• Experience managing vendors and aligning solutions with enterprise architecture and security standards.
• Experience as solution lead managing projects, solution roadmap, POC and leading initiatives with minimal direction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Demonstrates knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, CIS, OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK) and how to articulate controls and security mechanisms within a Risk Assessment centred approach.
