The VP DEIA-B will be the organizational leader for enhancing and formalizing a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, access, and belonging within the university community across all aspects of education, programs, services, and employment opportunities at the university; as well as creating an expansive and far-reaching vision and strategic plan to ensure its implementation.

The position of VP DEIA-B requires a master’s degree (doctorate preferred); experience leading efforts related to elements of DEIA-B including race, gender, LGBTQ+, ability, neurodiversity, veteran status, socioeconomic status, religion, etc.; and advanced knowledge, understanding and experience implementing DEI practices related to a university setting.
