Vice President of Delivery Data Management

The Vice President of Delivery Data Management will be responsible for leading and overseeing the successful execution of data-driven programs, ensuring excellence in Data Ingestion, Data Migration, Data Conversion, and Data Analytics/AI engagements This role requires an expert in large-scale data management, a seasoned delivery leader, and a strong collaborator who can work with global teams to drive client success.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Leadership & Execution

• Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of Data Management, Data Engineering, and AI-driven solutions for global clients.
• Ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective execution of Data Ingestion, Data Migration, and Data Conversion projects.
• Establish and enforce best practices, governance frameworks, and methodologies to enhance delivery efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with global teams to align delivery execution with client expectations and strategic objectives.
• Proactively mitigate risks, resolve escalations, and ensure service excellence.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Engage with C-level executives, business stakeholders, and technology leaders to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.
• Drive customer satisfaction and long-term relationships by delivering business value through data-driven insights and AI-powered solutions
• Serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation in delivery engagements.

Team Leadership & Growth

• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Data Engineers, Solution Architects, and AI Specialists
• Establish career development plans and training initiatives to enhance team capabilities.
• Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation across delivery teams.

Operational Excellence & P&L Management

• Own and manage P&L for Data Management delivery, ensuring profitability and operational efficiency.
• Continuously improve processes to optimize cost structures while maintaining high-quality service delivery.
• Drive automation, accelerators, and reusable frameworks to enhance execution efficiency.

Key Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in Data Management delivery, with expertise in Data Ingestion, Data Migration, Data Conversion, and Data Analytics/AI engagements.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale data-driven solutions for enterprise clients across Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, and Financial Services industries.
• Strong understanding of modern Data Architectures, Data Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), ETL Pipelines, and AI/ML capabilities.
• Hands-on experience with Big Data Technologies, Data Lakes, Data Warehousing, and Cloud-based data processing
• Expertise in Agile and DevOps methodologies for Data & AI delivery
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to drive high-performance teams
• Exceptional client-facing skills, stakeholder management, and business acumen

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a global consulting or IT services firm leading data management engagements.
• Expertise in industry-specific regulatory compliance and data governance frameworks.
• Experience working in multi-shore delivery models and managing global teams.
• Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
