The VP, Consumer Loans is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for the Consumer Loans department, with a primary focus on driving loan origination growth, expanding market share, and leveraging technology to enhance the member experience. This role leads the development and execution of innovative lending strategies, digital transformation initiatives, and organization process improvements to maximize profitability and operational efficiency. The VP ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements and algins lending activities with organizational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent years of related work experience; specialized training in consumer lending, digital transformation, or fintech partnerships.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Deep understanding of consumer lending products, origination systems, digital lending platforms, lending product developments, and regulatory requirements. Knowledge of AI, automation, and data analytics in lending.
EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in consumer lending, with at least 5 years in management roles.
Proven track record of driving loan origination growth and leading technology-driven transformation.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:

PHYSICAL STRENGTH: Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally. (Almost all office jobs.)

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions and can deal with multiple variables.
MATHEMATICS ABILITY: Ability to compute discount, interest, profit, and loss; commission markup and selling price; ratio and proportion and percentage. Ability to perform very simple algebra.
LANGUAGE ABILITY: Ability to read a variety of books, magazines, instruction manuals, atlases, and encyclopedias. Ability to prepare memos, reports, and essays using proper punctuation, spelling, and grammar. Ability to communicate distinctly with appropriate pauses and emphasis; correct pronunciation (or sign equivalent) and variation in word order; using present, perfect, and future tenses.
