
The Vice President of Construction and Development will be a key leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of large-scale ground-up property development projects from initial concept to completion. This role will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of vertical construction across multiple developments, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards. This role will play a critical part in scaling construction operations, improving efficiencies, and managing relationships with development partners, contractors, and other internal stakeholders. The VP of Construction will serve as a key strategic leader, driving initiatives that enhance project delivery and execution within the company’s growing portfolio.
The Vice President of Construction and Development will also play a critical role in shaping Welltower’s self-development and construction initiatives, particularly in wellness housing assets (build-to-rent, multifamily, and active adult/55+ projects), by collaborating with the development team in identifying opportunities and guiding projects through construction and community launch.
