Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive Versace communication strategy for the North American(NAM) markets to increase brand awareness and exposure, while in alignment with the global strategy. Synergistically, strategize across all media platforms and teams to ensure cohesion throughout the different channels such as events, marketing placements, social media and advertising.
  • Effectively partner with HQ’s Head of Communications to gain an understanding on the global strategy and make recommendations on how to enhance or modify for the NAM markets.
  • Work closely with worldwide press office on planning seasonal publicity strategies to coincide with worldwide initiatives, including presentations to the press, pitching stories about the brand and targeting covers / full-page editorials.
  • Plan and execute all seasonal press presentations and re-sees. Generate local strategies to create awareness in NAM markets as well as seasonal product drivers across all points of sale.
  • Leverage strategic media relations for local product launches and placement.
  • Proactively seek out brand positioning opportunities to further promote Versace as a top luxury lifestyle brand by strategizing new and creative prospects, special project and collaborations that will achieve measurable results and fulfill communications objectives.
  • Work cross functionally with internal and external licensed partners on developing and ensuring strategies meet brand standards. Create and execute strategies that support the business goals.
  • Manage, develop, and train the Communication teams as well as any outside agencies on brand vision, values and desired placement in the market.
  • Collaborate with the wholesale and retail division to ensure all activities from the marketing plan are executed. Update marketing plan and propose / execute activities based on changes in the various markets / retail doors.
  • Analyze and present on the success of regional advertising media plans on a monthly / quarter basis.
  • Oversee all philanthropic events and collaborations for NAM markets.
  • Oversee and manage public relations, events, and marketing budget.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in communications, with an emphasis on the North America.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the media landscape, including relevant print publications, social media trends, influencers, etc., as well as extensive editorial contact list and excellent working relationships with key media contacts and VIPs.
  • Extensive luxury brand experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional flexibility in dealing with different markets and cultures.
  • Strong business acumen; financial understanding of business objectives and analysis.
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects in great detail; superior accountability and adaptability to change.
  • Needs to be able to visualize and apply the 360 approach to all major projects related to the job.
  • Ability to reinforce decision making through appropriate and relevant due diligence.
  • BS/BA degree required.

Compensation Range:

230,000.00 - 260,000.00 USD
