Job Responsibilities:

• Korea & Asia Ex-Japan Equity Research Sales responsible for servicing institutional equity clients and distribute Nomura’s research content and single stock ideas. The role will require:
• Partner closely with internal stakeholders (Research, Trading, Syndicate etc.) to drive monetization of Nomura’s equity content business.
• Client meetings with analysts or corporates.
• Writing sales notes based on macro, company research, cross country read across.
• Develop client relationships & drive ranks and business, proactive in pursuit of new clients.
• Support Regional sales team on client requests.
• Driving corporate access initiatives, new idea generation for events.

Job Requirements:

• 7 or more years of Equity sales experience, knowledge in Industrials sector would be an advantage
• Good understanding of Korea and/or other regional Equity markets, existing Hedge Fund & Platform client relationships would be an advantage
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills ; coupled with good marketing and presentation skills
• A passion for financial markets, ideally demonstrated through past internships in the financial industry and curriculum
• Has basic knowledge of Prime Services Products, ODIs, SWAPs etc. to cater Hedge Funds and Multi Strategy Clients.
• Ability to work under demanding environment, and key to be a team player. Also to drive Korea & AeJ business out of Hong Kong
• Languages: Fluency in English & Korean (written and spoken) is essential. Fluency in Mandarin language would be an advantage
