Job Description

As a Vice President, Business Resiliency Program Management — Controls Management within CAO, you will govern and guide the development of resilient recovery plans aligned to firmwide standards.

You will partner with business and control stakeholders to ensure plans are designed, tested, and capable of sustaining operations across disruption scenarios. You will also strengthen governance, controls, and regulatory readiness across legal entity reviews, risk assessments, and program oversight.

You will collaborate closely with the CAO Business Resiliency Lead Director and the Resiliency Program Manager to strengthen governance structures, procedures, and controls, including support for risk assessments, legal entity reviews, and program governance.

Job responsibilities:

  • Deliver CAO Business Resiliency Program priorities in partnership with global stakeholders and the Firmwide Resiliency Office.
  • Manage metrics reporting, issue management, controls testing coordination, and risk tracking.
  • Lead working groups and drive delivery of key program outcomes.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of resiliency plans, third-party dependencies, application assets, and simulations

  • Ensure resiliency strategies and controls are sufficient to maintain business services within defined impact tolerances.

  • Monitor incidents impacting CAO assets and essential services; support impact analysis and stakeholder communication.
  • Enhance the resiliency governance framework, including procedures and control execution.
  • Prepare executive reporting on resiliency risks, governance effectiveness, and compliance.
  • Drive governance execution across planning, testing, incident management, and quality control with Plan Owners.
  • Support regulatory engagements, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Leverage data to identify insights and strengthen program controls and processes.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in firmwide resiliency processes and practices through partnerships across Finance, Control Management, Business Management, and Technology.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrate experience in business resiliency, operational risk, or controls within large, complex organizations. 3+ years
  • Leverage advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Visio)
  • Analyze and interpret complex problems using data to identify drivers and develop actionable solutions.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced, complex program environment.
  • Collaborate effectively as both a team player and an individual contributor.
  • Learn quickly, demonstrating intellectual curiosity and adaptability.
  • Influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional decisions through clear communication and leadership.
  • Deliver outcomes across complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Operate with high initiative, self-direction, and composure under pressure.
  • Exemplify the highest standards of ethics and integrity.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrate 5+ years leading multi-stakeholder programs with measurable outcomes.
  • Bring experience within CAO or complex corporate functions and familiarity with firmwide resiliency standards and controls environments.
  • Apply SharePoint and Confluence experience.
  • Utilize data analytics and reporting tools such as Alteryx and Tableau.
  • Leverage experience with AI-enabled automation in risk and control reporting
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Continuity, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Strengthen candidacy with an advanced degree and/or relevant certifications.
