Job Description

Reporting Line: Regional Head of DSF & Sales Operations

Location: Flexible

Highly strategic and execution-oriented leader to design, build, and scale a high-performance Business Development function that generates predictable, high-quality sales pipeline and develops future sales talent.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Own and lead the end-to-end Business Development and Sales Enablement operating model, ensuring alignment with organizational growth objectives, sales strategy, and revenue targets.
  • Design, implement, and continuously optimize inbound and outbound business development strategies, ideal customer profile segmentation, prospecting methodologies, qualification frameworks, and pipeline generation processes to drive predictable revenue growth.
  • Recruit, develop, coach, and lead a high-performing Business Development team while creating structured career-pathing and talent development programs that prepare employees for advancement into field sales and commercial leadership roles.
  • Participate in the design and oversight of onboarding, sales training, continued education, coaching programs, and skill development initiatives for Business Development and Direct Sales Force teams to improve performance, consistency, and sales effectiveness.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of sales playbooks, best practices, messaging frameworks, prospecting resources, and enablement content that standardize successful behaviors and improve sales productivity across teams.
  • Establish, monitor, and manage key performance indicators including pipeline generation, conversion rates, sales velocity, lead response times, productivity metrics, and overall sales performance. Conduct regular performance reviews and data-driven coaching discussions with sales leadership.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Direct Sales, Sales Operations, Channel Development, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment across demand generation, lead management, pipeline development, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement through performance analysis, experimentation, coaching, process refinement, and optimization of outreach strategies, sales messaging, and customer engagement practices.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop strategic initiatives, performance frameworks, and organizational capabilities that enhance commercial effectiveness, strengthen sales talent, and accelerate profitable growth.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Business, or similar discipline strongly preferred
  • 8–12+ years of B2B sales experience, including 3–5+ years leading or building BD/Sales Development Rep teams
  • Proven ability to build and scale pipeline generation functions, with experience beyond managing established processes
  • Demonstrated success in optimizing conversion rates, pipeline quality, and sales velocity
  • Strong experience in complex, solution-based selling to senior decision makers
  • Expertise in CRM and sales engagement tools (Salesforce, Outreach/Salesloft, etc.)
  • Experience implementing structured prospecting cadences and outbound sales motions
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and operational capabilities
  • Experience working cross-functionally with marketing and sales operations
  • Experience using Artificial Intelligencetechnologies (Gen AI, Data Analysis, (Microsoft) Copilot, ChatGPT) and are enthusiastic about learning and integrating AI into everyday business processes

Total compensation range:

$175,000 - $200,000

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary ranges are only one component of our total compensation package.
