Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Business; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive commercial experience in generics, biosimilars, and/or 505(b)(2) pharmaceuticals.
  • Deep understanding of the U.S. payer and provider landscape.
  • Ability to navigate regulatory nuances specific to generics and hybrid pathways.
  • Executive presence and a history of leading high-performing commercial teams.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience with digital marketing and data-driven decision-making.
  • Familiarity with 340B, 505B2, GPOs, and institutional customer segments.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results in a competitive market.
  • Demonstrated success in launching and optimizing performance for complex assets.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position inNew Jersey is $300,000 to $3500,000 base, plus a discretionary performance bonus (based upon eligibility). The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, the type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc. Lupin is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states

Vice President of Commercial, Biosimilars

Vice President, Commercial – U.S. Biosimilars & 505(b)(2)

As Vice President, Commercial – U.S. Biosimilars & 505(b)(2), you will lead the strategic development, launch, and growth of Lupin’s U.S. biosimilars and differentiated 505(b)(2) portfolio. This executive leader will drive market expansion, ensure profitable product positioning, and build commercial excellence across the organization. The role will shape go‑to‑market strategies that accelerate revenue growth, deepen market penetration, and position Lupin as a competitive force in complex and specialty pharmaceutical markets. This position requires a forward‑thinking enterprise builder who can translate deep market insight into strong cross‑functional execution.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Commercial Leadership

  • Own and execute U.S. commercial strategies for biosimilars and 505(b)(2) assets in alignment with enterprise objectives.
  • Lead lifecycle management, pricing strategy, and go‑to‑market planning for pipeline and marketed products.
  • Drive launch readiness, execution, and post‑launch optimization to maximize performance and impact.

Business Development & Portfolio Expansion

  • Lead commercial diligence and strategic assessments for licensing, partnerships, and portfolio expansion within the biosimilars and 505(b)(2) space.
  • Provide clear market perspectives to inform investment decisions and pipeline prioritization.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Market Execution

  • Partner closely with Regulatory, R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Medical Affairs, Finance, and Market Access teams to ensure seamless execution from development through launch.
  • Build strong relationships with payers, GPOs, specialty pharmacies, providers, and channel partners to optimize access, reimbursement, and utilization.

Team Leadership

  • Build and lead a high‑performing commercial organization focused on accountability, collaboration, and sustainable growth.
