Job Category: BankingJOB SUMMARY:  This position is responsible for all of the management within the banking center (BC) especially meeting all growth and profitability goals.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Clearly understand the bank’s growth and development goals and the key indicators that measure success. Support, communicate and reinforce these goals with team members.
- Establish and implement an ongoing program of growth and business development to meet production and profitability goals for the BC.
- Establish and implement the BC marketing plan that targets growth in loans, deposits and fee income.
- Establish and maintain a culture of “Service Excellence”.
- Educate BC team members about products and services.
- Develop and present an annual budget for the BC that supports growth and profitability.
- Ensure that proper expense controls are in place.
- Maximize profitability through fee income, including all other retail products, including trust, FRM, cash management, life insurance, GAP and merchant programs.
- Develop and manage a personal loan portfolio:

- - Negotiate rates, fees, terms and a structure that mitigates risk and maximize profitability.

- - Present credits for approval to appropriate levels of authority.

- - Maintain credit quality and compliance.

- Supervise, coach and mentor other lenders as assigned, providing training and encouraging growth and development along with approving their request up to your individual authority.
- Be responsible and accountable for all past due and loan exceptions within the BC.
- Be responsible and accountable for the entire loan portfolio of BC to ensure early identification of problems loans.
- Be responsible and accountable that policy, procedure, compliance, and regulatory requirements are followed on all loan and deposit activities within the BC.
- Daily review and approve all overdrafts within assigned authority, including those overdrafts exceeding other officer’s authority within the BC.
- Participate in community organizations, events and activities to enhance the bank’s image and develop additional business and referral sources, encouraging BC team members to do the same.
- Maintain a professional and cohesive team atmosphere throughout the BC.
- Assist tellers with serving customers providing necessary approvals and overrides.
- Oversee FSR’s and their job responsibilities, to include development, training and scheduling.
- Oversee all aspects of BC security and Business Continuity (COPE).
- Assist with maintaining exterior of building such as trash clean up, lawn care, watering, flag, by notifying Facilities Manager of any needs or issues.
- Help maintain the interior of building such as lighting, seasonal decorating, open house, bank special promotions.
- Effectively work and cooperate with management, co-workers and customers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:
- Bachelor Degree in Finance or related field preferred.
- Two plus years of Commercial Lending experience
- Experience in Financial Lending/Management or related area providing a working knowledge of financial lending and business management.
- Proficient computer skills including experience with Windows Applications, MS Office, especially Word and Excel, 10 key and typing.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This work is sedentary and requires the following physical activities:
- Sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
- Frequent lifting (up to 10 pounds of paper supplies or minor office equipment).
- Driving to client locations and other sites as needed.
