We are looking for a detail-orientedAutomationVoice Test Engineer to lead and execute manual and automated testing of voice and data protocols. This role involves validating telecom features, writing test plans, and ensuring high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual and/or automated testing of voice protocols on ONTs, OLTs, and modems.
• Develop and maintain test scripts using Python, Robot Framework, or Abacus.
• Write test cases, prepare test plans, and execute regression and release testing.
• Debug and validate issues in collaboration with development teams.
• Contributes to continuous improvement of test processes and tools.

​Voice-Specific Technologies & Responsibilities:

• Manual & Automated Testing of SIP, MGCP, H.248: Validate voice protocol implementations on ONTs, OLTs, and modems.
• IPTV (IGMP), SS7, DOCSIS: Testinglegacy telephony, and cable modem technologies.
• Test Automation Frameworks: Develop and maintain test scripts using Python, Robot Framework, and Abacus scripting.
• Test Equipment: Use tools like Ameritec Fortissimo,Abacus,Spirent Test Center, and Wireshark.
• Release Planning & Test Documentation: Write test plans and execute test cases.
• Field Simulation & Debugging: Reproduce customer-reported issues in lab environments.

Required Skills:

• Experience in voice protocol testing: SIP, MGCP, H.248.
• Familiarity with IPTV (IGMP), SS7, DOCSIS, and network protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Wireshark, Jira, Bamboo,Abacus,Ameritec, Spirent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Networking and Voice technology

Preferred Qualifications:

• ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.
• Leadership experience or interest in mentoring junior testers.
• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.
