The Vocational Pathways Specialist provides early and tailored one-on-one job-seeking support for injured workers with a psychological injury who are unable to return to their pre-injury employer. The role plays a critical part in bridging the gap to re-employment, ensuring participants are supported not only to recover, but to regain independence and meaningful participation in the workforce.
This role is relationship-driven, focused on building trust, encouraging change readiness, and maintaining engagement throughout the mental health recovery journey.
You will work closely with internal Case Managers and Pathways Specialists to ensure clear communication, aligned strategies, and timely progression toward outcomes. You may also engage with participants’ treating doctors to support capacity building.
This is a full-time, 12-month contract position based in Sydney, Parramatta, or Newcastle, with work-from-home flexibility (up to 3 days per week).
