Vocational Employment Project Coordinators administer, monitor, and report out on assigned special project within the Employment program. Works integrally within clinical treatment teams to align vocational goals with recovery outcomes, focusing on rapid job search, placement, and long-term career sustainability. By collaboratively managing the development of community jobs and ensuring quality placements, and that both the people we serve and our employer partners achieve mutual success. Responsible for coordinating and delivering high-fidelity vocational rehabilitation services to support the people we serve (PWS) in achieving their community employment goals. This role leads job development and placement activities, including the cultivation of strategic employer partnerships to ensure quality job matches across a variety of work experiences and employment types.

Education:
Requires sitting, standing, bending and reaching. May require lifting up to 50 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, the telephone and other office and/or clinical equipment. Employees will need to use personal vehicle or public transport to attend off-site meetings with community partners (e.g., DVR, Workforce Centers), employers, conduct job site visits, facilitate community-based trainings, and participate in organizational events across different WellPower locations. Frequently, depending on project phases and meeting schedules for 1-3 hours meetings or job development. Typically, local daytime travel consisting of short trips (15–45 minutes) within the Denver metro area. Occasional full-day attendance at regional conferences or off-site workshops may be required.
Working Conditions
Exposure to extreme heat, cold, fumes, or high noise levels is minimal and typically limited to short durations during travel between locations or while visiting employers and community partner sites. Employees are expected to follow standard health and safety protocols as directed by the organization or specific site requirements (e.g., masks during specific public health mandates).
