Job Description

Job Location: Potomac, MD 20854Bullis School seeks an experienced and engaging Vocal Instructor to teach in-person private voice lessons on our campus for students in Grades 3–12. This is a part-time, contract position with flexible scheduling (2-5 weekdays per week), and instructors have the opportunity to create their own teaching schedule in coordination with student availability.
Schedule:
- Lower & Middle School: After school hours
- Upper School: During study halls or after school

QualificationsKey

Qualifications:
- Proven experience teaching voice to students of multiple ages and skill levels
- Strong foundation in classical, musical theatre, and contemporary vocal styles
- Proficiency in the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) and foreign language diction
- Dependable, communicative, and student-centered teaching approach
- Ability to manage variable schedules and administrative functions
Additional Details:
- In-person lessons take place on the Bullis School campus
- Lessons follow the Bullis academic calendar
- Two 10-lesson sessions per year
- Teachers are independent contractors, paid directly by families (financial aid available for qualifying students)
