About This Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled Nutanix Engineer to manage, optimize, and support our hyperconverged infrastructure. You will administer Nutanix environments, drive automation, ensure high availability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure solutions.

What You Will Do

  • Administer Nutanix clusters using Prism Central and Prism Element
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain AHV (Acropolis Hypervisor)
  • Perform cluster upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management
  • Monitor system health, performance, and capacity planning
  • Manage storage containers, replication, snapshots, Nutanix Files, and Objects
  • Implement DR strategies using Leap and configure virtual networking via Nutanix Flow
  • Enforce micro-segmentation, security policies, and integrate with enterprise firewalls and load balancers
  • Automate tasks using REST APIs, PowerShell, or Python and work with Calm for orchestration
  • Integrate Nutanix with Microsoft Azure (NC2/hybrid setups)
  • Lead migrations from VMware/Hyper-V to Nutanix AHV
  • Provide L3 support, conduct RCA, and drive incident resolution

The Skills You Bring

  • Strong hands-on experience with Nutanix (Prism Central, Prism Element, AHV)
  • Knowledge of HCI, virtualization, DR, replication, and backup strategies
  • Expertise in Nutanix Files, Objects, and Flow
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, REST APIs) and exposure to Calm
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure integration (NC2/hybrid environments)
  • Strong networking knowledge including micro-segmentation and security policies
  • Experience migrating from VMware/Hyper-V to Nutanix
  • Solid L3 troubleshooting, RCA, and stakeholder communication skills
