Summer Internship Program at a Leading Global Marketing Agency 

Growing the marketers of tomorrow. 

 
VML & Ogilvy Japan is part of the WPP Group, the world's largest advertising agency network, and has inherited the DNA of David Ogilvy, known as “The Father of Modern Advertising”. 

This summer internship program is designed to provide global marketing communications experience to students graduating in 2027 and 2028 who are interested in advertising and creative fields. 

In this 8-week program, participants will experience real client work in a diverse office environment where both Japanese and English are spoken. 

  

Date & Time 

Monday, August 3, 2026 - Wednesday, September 30, 2026　 

9:30 - 17:30 *Except Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays 

  

Program 

• Lecture (15%): Learn business basics directly from leaders of each department 

• Workshops (10%): Experience *various jobs/departments within the agency 

• Group projects (75%): Experience hands-on client work

Requirements 

• Applicants must be enrolled in a university or graduate school in Japan and expect to graduate in 2027 or 2028. 

• Able to participate in all days of the program at the office. 

• Business level or above in both English and Japanese. 

• [Nice to have] Creative skills, such as visual design, copywriting, etc. 

  

Selection Process 

• Step 1 - Selection based on your application 

• Step 2 - Online interviews with team members and Hiring Manager.

  

Notes 

• Participants will be paid 1500 JPY per hour

• Commuting expenses (up to 15,000 yen) will be reimbursed. 

• Accident insurance will be provided at the company's expense. 

• All other expenses (including accommodation and travel expenses) are to be borne by the participant.
