This role is a senior technical leadership position focused on designing, delivering, and guiding the implementation of advanced Salesforce Vlocity (Industries CPQ) solutions. You will act as a key technical authority within agile delivery teams, shaping architecture, ensuring solution quality, and mentoring developers throughout complex enterprise projects. The position combines hands-on development with strategic oversight, requiring strong expertise in CPQ processes, OmniStudio components, and Salesforce industry cloud capabilities. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, consultants, and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable and high-performing solutions. This is a highly impactful role where you will influence design decisions, ensure technical excellence, and support team capability growth. Accountabilities

You will lead the technical design and development of Vlocity-based CPQ solutions while guiding teams through complex Salesforce implementation projects.

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of Vlocity (Industries CPQ) solutions
• Develop and configure components including DataRaptor, OmniScript, Integration Procedures, Cards, and Vlocity DX
• Implement and optimize CPQ, EPC, and Rating Engine functionalities within Salesforce environments
• Design and build Lightning Web Components (LWC) where required
• Review user stories, estimate effort, and support sprint planning and decomposition of tasks
• Ensure solution performance, scalability, and alignment with architectural standards
• Mentor and coach development teams on Vlocity and Salesforce best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines strong Salesforce Vlocity expertise with proven technical leadership experience in complex enterprise environments.

• 4+ years of experience in technical leadership roles within Salesforce or similar ecosystems
• At least 2+ years of hands-on Vlocity experience, including 1+ year in a lead role
• Strong expertise in Vlocity CPQ, OmniStudio components, DataRaptor, and Integration Procedures
• Experience with EPC or Rating Engine (mandatory) and CLM (nice to have)
• Solid experience developing Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Salesforce certifications such as Vlocity Platform Developer and CPQ-related certifications required
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and performance considerations
• Ability to estimate work, manage sprint delivery, and guide technical execution
• Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
• Knowledge of broader technologies such as JavaScript, SQL, APIs, or integration tools is a plus
• Ability to work in distributed teams and travel when required (up to 40–60%)
