WEEKLY HOURS: 35 hours weekly, Flexible (Requires evening and weekend availability during Tax Season)

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The VITA Tax Program Manager Assistant is essential to the successful day-to-day operation of our free Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site. This role focuses on assisting volunteer recruitment, scheduling, and supervision while providing critical support and guidance to volunteer and paid staff. By ensuring IRS compliance, and delivering excellent client services, you will help provide high-quality tax preparation for low- and moderate-income taxpayers.
I. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, but are not limited to:
Volunteer Recruitment & Management (35%)
Site Operations & Staff Support (30%)
Quality Control & Tax Preparation (20%)
Administrative Duties (15%)
