The Visual Project Manager plays a critical role in driving the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects that support the Visual Merchandising organization. This role manages cross-functional initiatives for assigned projects and/or business area ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with brand and business objectives. The Project Manager partners closely with merchandising, marketing, store operations, ecommerce, and vendors to bring omni-channel experiences to life. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Project Leadership & Execution
Lead and direct project management for cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand strategy.
Define project scope, priorities, deliverables, timelines, and success metrics, exercising independent judgment based on business needs.
Evaluate competing priorities and make decisions regarding project sequencing, resource allocation, and timeline adjustments.
Identify risks and operational challenges; develop and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
Define and enforce project governance standards, ensuring consistency, accountability, quality, and adherence to reporting and workflow processes across all deliverables.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
For assigned projects and/or business area, serve as the central point of coordination and timeline management for cross-functional teams.
Influence stakeholders and drive alignment across functions, balancing competing priorities and business needs.
Lead project reviews and facilitate decision-making discussions to resolve issues and maintain progress.
Process Optimization & Strategic Workflow Management
Create, enhance, and rollout project management processes, workflows, and tools to improve efficiency, scalability, and quality.
Implement best practices and standardized methodologies to support consistent project execution.
Budgeting & Vendor
Own gathering vendor quotes, manage project budgets, and track expenses throughout the project lifecycle.
Lead the evaluation and vendor set up process of visual merchandising vendor partners for assigned projects and/or business area.
Evaluate vendor quotes and recommend best vendor to meet project needs.
Submit invoices for processing and ensure accurate financial documentation.
Own and build strong relationships with vendors to support high-quality, cost-effective project execution.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
•
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

5+ years of project management experience, ideally within retail, store development, omnichannel, creative services, agency environments, or in-house brand teams.
•
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
•
Strong organizational, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
•
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional partners.
•
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project management tools such as Workfront or Asana.
•
Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and proactively solve problems.
Preferred
•
Experience supporting retail, visual merchandising, marketing, ecommerce, or cross-functional teams.
•
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud.
•
Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
•
Experience managing budgets, vendor relationships, and production workflows.
•
Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma, Scrum).
