Working at Haglöfs is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to combine inspiring colleagues and exciting challenges with a passion for the outdoors.

Haglöfs is on a global growth and transformation journey. The Visual Merchandising Manager will play a key role in this journey by shaping how the brand comes to life across physical retail environments globally. In this role, you will contribute to driving commercial performance, strengthening brand consistency, and creating engaging consumer experiences across all key touchpoints.

About the role

The role owns and leads the global Visual Merchandising strategy and secures consistent execution across Brand Stores, Outlets, Shop-in-Shops, Showrooms, and HQ environments. It ensures a premium and inspiring brand experience that drives both engagement and sell-through.

The Visual Merchandising Manager develops and maintains global VM guidelines and defines the VM direction for Brand Stores and Outlets, securing strong alignment between assortment planning and visual presentation to optimize commercial performance.

The role ensures that all new store implementations, upgrades, and retail environments follow the latest Haglöfs store concept and brand standards.

The Visual Merchandising Manager owns and plans the commercial calendar for Brand Stores and leads end-to-end campaign execution across global and local initiatives. This includes windows, in-store areas, and product storytelling, as well as developing toolkits for non-global campaigns and securing clear execution guidelines for local teams. The role is also responsible for evaluating campaign performance and optimizing future initiatives based on insights.

The role owns and manages all Visual Merchandising tools and assets, including fixtures, mannequins, props, and printed and digital materials. It oversees inventory and budget for VM assets and ensures cost efficiency while maintaining a premium brand experience. The role also drives the development and adoption of VM tools such as Mockshop.

The Visual Merchandising Manager works cross-functionally with Retail, E-commerce, Merchandising, Marketing, and Sales to ensure aligned campaigns and strong commercial execution. The role also supports Wholesale teams with VM guidelines for Showrooms and Shop-in-Shops.

The role is responsible for training and developing store teams and future VM talent through workshops, tools, and guidelines, securing strong Visual Merchandising capabilities across markets.

Haglöfs is a dynamic and global organization where teamwork and passion are key to success. As the company continues its growth and transformation journey, the role requires a strong sense of ownership, a proactive mindset, and the ability to lead projects in a fast-paced environment. The consumer is always at the center, and the role requires a strong understanding of brand experience and commercial impact.

The ideal candidate will bring:

About Haglöfs

Haglöfs comes from Sweden, a country of extreme weather and extensive landscape. Where rolling lowlands and running rivers give way to thick forests and snow-capped mountains. A place where the outdoors isn’t just a far-off place, it’s in the fabric of the brands culture and community. Haglöfs explore with curiosity and a commitment to creating gear that will support anyone, anywhere on their outdoor adventure - from walking through the forest to reaching the peak of a mountain.

An attitude of innovation is at the core of Haglöfs’ history. The brand was founded in 1914 by Wiktor Haglöf, a visionary with a dream and a toolbox. A carpenter by trade, Wiktor was determined to create a backpack that would withstand the necessary journeys through the country, no matter the conditions. From humble beginnings, Haglöfs’ story evolved, and so did the offerings. Seeking constant progress, Haglöfs have ventured into new territory, creating technical designs that set a new standard in craftsmanship and committing to do what can be done to ensure that the outdoors will still be there for future generations to explore. The brand pioneered a new standard for perfection, but, like Wiktor, never stops innovating.
