Visual Merchandiser Manager - Job Advert

We are now looking for a Visual Merchandiser Manager to work as part of the VM team in our new UNIQLO Flagship store! We are very much looking forward to welcoming your application and starting your UNIQLO Journey with us!

  • Hours: Permanent/Temporary contract (depending on the profile and experience)
  • Full Time (40 hours/week)
  • Flexibility: Full flexibility from Monday to Sunday is required.

Feel your impact

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Store Presentation & Layout: Monitors the implementation of Visual Merchandising standards throughout the in-store customer experience.

Creates and implements the monthly store layout and merchandising plan with the Store Operations team.

  • Window Displays: Maintains the creative direction of all aspects of the in-store visuals, covering in-store POS materials, styling, displays and windows.

Implements the window concepts following European and Global direction, as well as in store displays together with Store Operations, to ultimately increase sales

  • Trend Awareness: Demonstrating a clear understanding of the latest looks through dressing techniques. Refreshing displays based on trends, new items, promotions, and seasons.
  • Sales Inventory & Management: Assesses the potential to maximise sales in relation to the merchandising layout, through the weekly and monthly analysis of the stock and sales situation with the Store Operations team.
  • Team Collaboration Builds successful relationships with the store operations team and other European functions in the business, as well as print suppliers and window installers.
  • Team development: Recruits and managing a team of visual merchandisers.

Trains and develop visual merchandising capabilities within the local Visual Merchandising team and the Store Operations teams.

Requirements & skills

  • You have the right to work in Italy
  • You speak Italian and English language
  • Previous experience as a Regional Visual Merchandiser or Visual Merchandising Manager for a flagship store.
  • You possess well-rounded knowledge and keen awareness of market trends, in both luxury and mass market fashion.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement commercially creative ideas, and has an eye for detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to identify priorities and confidently plan teams’ workload, within a pressured and fast paced environment.
  • Passion about customer service, flexible and adaptable, with a mindset that focuses on innovation.
  • Strong communicator: he/she has the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels, across departments and with key stakeholders.
  • Enjoy managing, motivating and developing people, has cross cultural sensitivity and leads his/her team with a positive, professional attitude, as well as excellent training and coaching skills. He/she will be open to embrace our company culture and values.
