Visual Art Technician
20 hours per week
September 2026 start - Term Time only + INSET (39 weeks)
Salary SC3 (pts 5-6) £31,086-£31,530p.a.
Pro-rata actual salary: £15,346 - £15,565pa (pay award pending)
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Visual Arts Technician, a highly organised individual to support all aspects of teaching in a very successful faculty across a range of art disciplines, including preparation and maintenance of all tools and resources. The candidate will have experience of working in clay and have photography and digital media experience to support exam classes in art.
The role demands a high level of organisational planning and the capacity to provide a first-class service that meets the needs of both students and the curriculum. There will be a strong focus on actively promoting the enjoyment of all aspects of visual arts.
