Leidos was awarded the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services contract, and currently has an opening for a Communications, Visual and Graphic Design. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to modernize a leading, global-scale multi-cloud environment in support of a critical mission, supporting USAF system resiliency, security, and cost effectiveness.
Primary Responsibilities:
As a Visual and Graphic Designer, you will play a critical role in translating complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation. You’ll collaborate with engineers, program managers, and customer stakeholders to develop materials that support cloud implementation, training, compliance, and ongoing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Creates graphics, visual aids, diagrams, templates, branding and marketing guides, presentations and other communications products in line with brand standards in support of marketing, branding and other key initiatives. Creates a consistent look and feel among products. Ensures products are in line with business strategy and messaging. Responds to and coordinates requests from business leaders, generating deliverables in support of the business.
Manage version control and document lifecycle across multiple workstreams.
Communicates with internal and client project team members. Works to influence team members regarding solution design, process and/or approaches.
Works independently to achieve day-to-day objectives with significant impact on operational results or project deliverables. Responsible for entire projects or processes within a professional area.
Minimum Qualifications:
Typically requires BS degree and 4+ years of prior relevant experience.
Interim Secret clearance required to start; Ability to obtain Secret clearance required to maintain employment.
US citizenship required.
5+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably supporting federal or DoD programs.
Proven ability to write and edit complex technical content for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with cloud technologies, cybersecurity principles, and enterprise IT environments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and documentation tools (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, Adobe Acrobat).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Agile development environments and DevSecOps
practices.

Pay Range $65,650.00 - $118,675.00
