The Visitor Services Supervisor (VSS) plays a key role in delivering high-quality and consistent visitor services within Alberta’s provincial parks. The position is responsible for coordinating campground registration, booth operations, retail services and the provision of timely as well as accurate information to the public.
As a Visitor Services Supervisor, you will provide leadership to a team of seasonal staff through seasonal training, guidance, and day-to-day direction. You will ensure high quality customer service standards, efficient operational procedures, and Occupational Health and Safety requirements are met while supporting the implementation of operational plans as well as service delivery priorities.

This role requires strong judgement, problem-solving skills and a commitment to service excellence. You will need to work strategically and operationally and make decisions ranging from simple to complex.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to build positive working relationships, adapt to changing operational needs, and support a respectful and inclusive team environment.
Some travel within Alberta will be required. A valid Class 5 driver’s licence (or equivalent) is required. A vehicle will be provided once you report to work, however you are responsible for transportation to and from Miquelon Lake Provincial Park where the position is located. There are no permanent on-site housing options available for this position.

This position is a full-time permanent opportunity, 36.25 hours a week.
The standard working hours for this position are 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., totaling 36.25 hours per week. The regular work schedule is Monday to Friday from October to April. During the summer operational period (May to September), the scheduled workdays will shift to Tuesday through Saturday; however, alternative days off may be arranged as required. Occasional evening shifts may also be required.
This position may involve travel throughout the province. Candidates must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s licence (or equivalent) and be willing to travel as needed.
