Under the supervision of Dr. Joseph Francis, the contingent worker will analyze microscopy images using ImageJ (NIH), collect mouse tails for genotyping, perform immunoblotting experiments, and implant tumor cells in mice. The work will contribute to an ongoing project in Dr. Francis’s laboratory aimed at understanding the molecular basis of pancreatic cancer progression. With his collaboration, the visitor will help accelerate our experiments and enable us to obtain new and relevant data more quickly. Such data will be used for submission in scientific publications and funding proposal applications.
