Work collaboratively with Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park (IQMP) team members and partners to develop an ecosystem that includes private-sector companies engaging in research, development, and product deployment; user facilities and infrastructure; and workforce development programs.
This is a 100% full-time visiting Academic Professional position, appointed on a 12-month basis. At the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, the "visiting" designation is used for positions that are established for a limited duration based on current programmatic, operational, or funding needs. The designation does not affect the nature of the work or the role's importance within the department. While the position is currently designated as visiting, there may be an opportunity for it to become permanent in the future. The expected start date is as soon as possible after the close date. The budgeted salary range for the position is $75,000 to $90,000. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity.
