School of Arts and Sciences Profile
The School of Arts and Sciences at the American International University in Kuwait comprises disciplines in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Physics, Mathematics, English Literature, Humanities, and Education. The school offers a broad interdisciplinary foundation in the natural sciences, mathematics, humanities, and education, equipping students with critical thinking, analytical, communication, and research skills essential for academic and professional success.
Visiting faculty members will be responsible for teaching courses in their respective disciplines, assisting with course development, and contributing to the academic growth of AIU’s students.
Key Responsibilities
• Teach undergraduate physics courses ranging from introductory to advanced levels.
• Provide mentorship and academic advising to students.
• Collaborate with faculty in curriculum development.
• Actively contribute to the intellectual and cultural growth of AIU’s academic community.
Required Qualifications
• PhD in Physics or related field is required.
• Proficient communication skills in English.
• University teaching experience in the subject matter.
• Industry experience in teaching field.
• Commitment to excellence in teaching.
