The Visiting Instructor/Assistant Professor of English will teach English composition courses for LSU Eunice on the LSU Baton Rouge campus as part of the Bengals to Tigers Bridge Program, with the possibility of online sections of English as well. The instructor/assistant professor is responsible for the development and instruction of course materials in the field of English, both on campus and online, and is capable of teaching freshman and sophomore college-level courses.
Job Duties
65% Instruct college level English courses and English support courses
20% Office hours and advising
10% Committee Work/University Service
5% Other Duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's in English or related field
OR Master's degree in unrelated field plus 18 hours in related English field from a regionally accredited institution.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D. in English or related field
3 year experience
College level instruction in English
Special and/or physical qualifications
Must be able to teach on the LSU Baton Rouge campus.
