The Department of Chemistry at Ursinus College invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant ProfessorThe successful candidate will join a dedicated team of faculty and staff in an ACS-certified department and willparticipate in the biochemistry and molecular biology programThe chemistry department is housed in Pfahler Hall and offers dedicated student research laboratories and instruments suitable for undergraduate research.

Responsibilities

We seek a chemist who is committed to excellence in undergraduate education at a highly selective liberal arts college.The successful candidate will be responsible forteaching four courses per semester, with primary responsibilities including lecture and laboratory courses in general and/or organic chemistryOpportunities exist for interested candidates toengage undergraduate students in research

Qualifications

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in chemistry or chemical education
