
The Greenwood School of Music seeks a qualified trombonist (bass trombonist preferred) to teach undergraduate applied trombone lessons, and coach chamber trombone ensembles. The chamber trombone ensembles will include trombone quartets, the Orenda Trombones, and the OSU Jazz Trombone Ensemble. Additional teaching duties may include teaching trombone pedagogy, trombone literature, and low brass methods.
The candidate will be expected to teach approximately 12-14 contact hours of applied lessons each week.
Master’s degree required. Experience teaching studio low brass at the university level, as well as chamber and orchestral performance experience desired.
