The Bates College Mathematics Department invites applications for a one year visiting position at the rank of assistant professor, beginning July 1, 2026
Preference will be given to candidates who will have completed by July 1, 2026 the Ph.D. in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or other appropriate field.
Applications should include the following:
Cover letter;
CV;
Teaching statement that includes a description of how your teaching can contribute to a learning community that values equity and inclusion;
The names and contact information of three references, at least one of whom can address your teaching experience or potential.
