
Visiting Assistant Professor of Instruction: Integrated Public Relations and Advertising (2026-27)
The Zimmerman School of Advertising & Mass Communications at the University of South Florida invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Instruction, a nine-month, full-time and non-tenure earning position with a start date of August 7, 2026. Salary is negotiable. This is a visiting position with the possible extension for a second and/or third year.

We seek an outstanding professional with a record of accomplishment in media and communication management and use of artificial intelligence in industry. The candidate also should have teaching experience in advertising, media innovation and leadership. The successful candidate will possess a history of engagement in all aspects of mass communications, including in leadership roles in advertising, public relations and/or academia.
Minimum Qualifications:
A relevant terminal degree from an accredited institution and record of professional accomplishment in media and communication management. At least three years’ university-level teaching experience and evidence of teaching excellence.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 10 years’ relevant industry work and experience in communication leadership training and development.
